Operation instructions of tire mold silicone,rtv-2 silicones,moldable silicone rubber material:
1. Preparing an original tyre mold (make sure the original mold perfect ,smooth and clear )
2.Brush an layer of release agent on the surface of original mold and dry it with airgun ,surranding the original mold with iron frame,pls remember to deal with release agent on the inside part of frame too .
3,Mix silicone rubber part A with catalyst part B.
4.De-air process :Put the mixture into the vaccum machine for de-air processing after mix the two part evenly ,those process should not take too long ,normall will be in 10 minutes , if more than 10 minutes the two part will react into an incured mold , so the silicone will be difficult to pour , thus the material will be wasted
5.Brushing a layer of silicone on the surface of the orignal mold carefully without any bubble , Pouring the mixture into the frame around a point ,shake the frame to avoide some bubbles .
6,Waiting 90 to 120 minutes till the silicone become cured ,pouring the mixed gypsum water into the rest of the frame till full .
Notes: 1) The percentage added of catalyst should based on the temperature , if the temperature is high , reduce the percentage of catalyst . If add too much catalyst , the mold will become easy to broken ; if added not enough catalyst , the operation time will be very long .
2)we do not suggest add any silicone oil in case of the change of silicone property
3)In order to show the best performance of silicone mold , we suggest to keep the silicone mold in 24 hours before put into production
7.After 6 to 8 hours ,the silicone mold will cured totally . Demould the silicone , you will get a piece of silicone tyre mold .
8.Surranding the silicone mold with four steel board ,set it into the frame for making the tyre mold
9.Pouring the mixed gypsum into the frame ,wait till the gysum almost cured ,set an small wooden square in the two side of the gypsum mold , which used as an button for easier operation
10.Set the steel disc onto the tread groove of the finished gypsum mold
11.Make 6 to 8 gypsum mold by the same way and surrand those mold into an circle ,put some sawn wood in the circle and making the tyre mold
12.Set the gypsum mold made before around the ourside circle of the tyre mold ,put the gypsum mold and outer mold on the steel board ,heat the gypsum under 600 centigrade and pouring the aluminum mixture ,wait till cured
13.Set the finished aluminum tyre mold on the correcting tyre rim machine ,make sure it's the standard tyre mold .
14.Then the mold finished
